My (not really) planted tank

I don't like gravel, but I like plants. Here's the solution:

Nice! I was thinking of doing something like that so the tank wouldnt look so bare! What kind of plats are those? Easy to care for? I know nothing about plants
 
Thanks for the comments guys. If it can help, those pots were from Walmart, pretty pretty cheap.

To be honest, I don't know crap about plants either. But I know that Anubias (spelling?) do help good with nitrates, but the petshop didn't have any, so I bought those ones. Let see how long they last.
 
Anubias does help with nitrates and they are pretty forgiving in terms of light and other requirements. Looks good man. I'll check with someone back in Vancouver, she could ship you some Anubias if you still want them, April has the best prices ever.
 
look like a picture frame nice. You only have 3 rays and an aro so there won't be much nitrite to worry about. Planning to breed the Ray? hehehe
