NGT wont eat

Help i bought a NGT for about two weeks now, he's a but 3" only eat feeder fish, what can i do to make him eat other food perfer pellet or market shrimp, when the lights is on he's just high under the drift wood, but when the ligh if off he's swimming around.

can someone help?

it helps if you have other fish in the same tank that eats mp. feed feeders for a few days to get your ngt fat. then starve and wait for him to eat prawn. he will follow other fish eat mp.

thanks for the help, my other parrots are bigger than him so is the aro, so i have a divider just him on the side, so it's hard to have him with other fish that eats pellet together

and he hide a lot still it's been 2 week ... he wont even smell the market shrimp at all sigh
