Ottawa is a little pricey

I'm looking at buying arowana. I am really just looking for any kind if it's a good deal. So I go to a LFS here in Ottawa. From what I gather, they would be one of the only places around to get them ( I'm sure they are available at other places but I don't know where to look) and they tried to tell me that the cheapest they can provide me with an arowana is 100-120 depending on size they get in. ( they said they don't get anything bigger then 6 inches.) I think it's a huge rip off. Any one know where I can find a silver at a reasonable price? Keeping in mind that it costs me 80-90 in gas to go to Toronto and back
