I've been doing it for a year and a half now or longer with a mbu puffer in the tank also. Can be done but if the food for the turtle isn't there it would turn. The mbu so far has been no threats.

No I actually have the pnt and mbu with my growouts but it's getting closer to the time where I will put them in with my adults. I think the feeding schedule is the biggest factor for any of these oddball comms working.
