Powerhead- good or bad???

Yeah, I know it's a lot of water but I like to err on the safe side. I have been letting the changes slip a bit now that it's summer time. After working outside all day it is hard to get motivated to do water changes in the evenings. I'm probably down to 75% per week.

The only problem I have with the Koralia 4 powerheads is that they don't seem to like to run on my APC UPS whereas the Maxijet has no problem.
 
Is there a problem with too many water changes? I only change 25 - 30% at a time so they don't get too stressed. And I always use prime.
