R/O DI vs Water purifier

Hey was looking at doing the an auto water changer, any difference between the RO DI unit vs a water purifier (2 stage, 1 would be like sediments and 2nd be chlorine removal)? I mean the difference in price is only $30... its for stingray and arowana tank :)

Also in toronto do we have chloramine added or just chlorine?


THanks for your help....anyone in toronto have any suggestions where to buy?
