Well, my poor aro seemed to have been recovering well from its recent jump but it was being harassed by my larger rays. I decided to set up another tank to give it a chance to fatten up a bit let it relax for a while. While bagging this little guy (not really so little anymore) it must have gotten pinched in the bag and dropped its tail! These pics are 3 days after and you can see a slight edge of new fin growing in. This fish is going to give me a heart attack. I'm getting frustrated! If anyone wants to take the time to let its fin recover, shoot me an offer! It is otherwise a very beautiful fish!

Yes very serious. But it's already starting to grow back. About 1/4" or so.

I have also heard about Arowanas tail dropping under great stress, a bit like lizards. But usually, it is XBs.

Anyways, wish it a quick recovery. Apart from its tail, it looks great with good potential.
