silver sides and aros

My dynamic red has a great apatite and seems to eat a variety of foods. Lately he has grown to really love silver sides, eating 4 or 5 at a time (he's only about 10"). I don't feed him past where he has a full belly but his hunger doesn't seem to be slowing down. He still eats shrimp, pellets (on occasion) and of course super worms (as a treat).

Are silver sides good to feed to aros? I haven't noticed anyone else feeding their aros these. My rays also seem to really love them and so does my dat who competes with the aro for them (and my oscars go crazy over them too).

I bought the frozen silver sides from petland (San Fransisco Bay brand). The picky pbass are about the only ones who won't eat it. They seem to have fixated on market shrimp and that's it.

I was just worrying about the possible salt content of the silver sides being harmful for fw fish. They seem to really like them though (just like I like salty potato chips).
