ST Past & Present

I was browsing through my computer and found pics of my ST when i first bought him, around 6 years ago now. I got him at around 9-10 inch at that time. Pics were taken at a Seattle LFS prior to driving him back to Vancouver.

That aquarium store use to bring in many small STs in the past. I brought back a few which I sold locally for only $150 for a 4-5 inch specimen!

Brings back old memories lol. It took a lot of TLC and massivore throughout the past few years but he's developing very nicely and almost measures 18 inch today.

I wished I kept a few more!

Hard to believe that back then, you could get them for 150; flash forward now and the price is 25x higher.

yea. who knew. id be rich if i kept them all to this date and sold them lol.

around 10 years ago when i first saw sts, they were $40 each. sigh. gota miss those days. and $8 USD for an indo lol

but like 6+ years ago, as a kid with no job, getting the $40 + a big tank is just as hard as getting $5000 today

I agree and i was in that boat! It was hard to spend hard earned money!
