Have you guys ever seen that before? Recently exported to Taiwan in 2007.

Yes, they call it Batman Ray. Cost a lot too... They're some videos on youtube if you wanna look them up. Personally, I think they move weird...

They are just deformed shape of a motoro stingray. I used to have three of them all of them died. They just can't compete with a other undeformed stingray. Because of it's deform disk it's a little bit hard form them to locate the foods.

Never thought of that before. Without that large portion of disc they must have to fumble around for food a fair bit before getting it to their mouths.

I think they are kind of neat

You had 3?

I thought they were expensive as hell... How much did you get them for?

this is a deformaty that happens i had a p14 that was born with a split disk not as bad as this just a small v shape

i still think that some motoro are helped along to look like the picture by cutting has no thought it strange that its mainly motoro we see with the perfect batman shape and no expencive rays like leopoldi

the the price increse for a batman motoro is much higher than a motoro with just a small bit of its disk missing which would be worthless

just my opinions

My first 3 sets of motoro pups all had the "v" deformity but the next 2 sets were fine. The first two that were born with it have now had 3 sets of pups, they seem to find the food alright as far as I can tell. The deformity is in the front, about 1 inch across on my 12" female and 10" male.

I have always wanted one....

From one of the agents, I can find a single Leo. (not motoro) batman stingray right now. The price should be lower than a high-end black diamond.

Will update everyone on that.

Thanks.

I cannot provide photos and know nothing about the price at this moment as (I guess) the owner is out of town.

When I do know more about it, I will create a new post in classified section.

Thanks :D:)

I personally don't like batman type rays as they are not normal....more of a deformity then anything else in my opinion. I know some like this just like king aros....just not my cup of tea.

X2, not a fan of deformity in any fish, really.
