I think thats a scam. if the person knows about aros he or she would ask fore more than 3800 and spell the HBRGT properly.
Also y cant they leave a contact # .
 
Why would someone not post pictures especially if he's asking for thousands. Probably trying to scam inexperienced people in my opinion! =\
 
There's a pair of asian breeding on youtube in a tank. Also i know there no asians but i've seen silvers breed in a tank. I must admit i thought i would have seen a much larger price tag.
Dude just cause two fish swim to gether it doesn't mean there getting it on.....lol
 
haha i think he means they are old enough to breed.. I would be shocked if asian aro have been bred in north america and we haven't heard about it.
 
As far as I know, no one has captive bred aros in tanks outside of Asia except in Japan so this guy is pulling a fast one. Why would he want to sell if it is truly a breeding pair?

BC, private person, bred them. Not worth bother him to post his success, he just gifted away the SR fry. That's what I heard. I doubt this guy here bred them though.
 
Maybe the pair did try brooding just wasn't successful "YET". Who knows keep the water conditions good and they'll spawn succesfully. That must be a big RTG though 23".
 
Eken, I did contact the seller from the first day of the add, but no respond... :confused: :confused: :confused:

The pair might not even exist at all, It's just a scam ...

If he got the fish I will give him $ 4000... If not, tell the guy to get lost ...:mad:

Not my guys:cool:........But i have heard of a successful pair in Edmonton for some time, keeping it under the radar for the most part. Maybe this has some truth to it.
 
Boydo, you might be the right person to be able to check this out, the seller should not be very far from where you are. Keep us up to date.... Thanks brother !

Yes, the pair really existe, So no more speculation now ...:)

I'm working on it right now... My big concern is how to bring them to Vancouver without loosing them. They are quite big ! :rolleyes:

I'm not sure why there is a need for secrecy. I am sure everyone here would be interested in the 'special projects'. Does this mean some members are more 'worthy' than others?
