whats a good tank size for an asian aro?

i know reds need a bigger tank then highbacks i wont be getting a red


im thinking of a hbrtg ,rtg or bbxb or maylasian gold


im lookinh ata tank thats 7x2x2 is 2 feet width to small for life?



if so how long will it be ok in there? is a 6x3x3 better? thanks

i think i found a 6x3x3 but i know the width is fine but what about the lenngth? will it be ok? thanks

That is over 300 gallons. That is perfect as an aro tank. You can raise one to full size comfortably in that tank.

It turned out to by a 6x2x2 tank ive been told 2 times by 2 diffrent people who say they have a 6x3x3 but it both ended up being 6x2x2 which is to small
Kinda weird
Well im back on the hunt for a bigger tank!

A 180 gallon - 6 X 2 X 2 - is a good minimum size tank to raise an aro; if you can go bigger it is better.

Bro,

Width 2ft is enough to house an Asian aro be it a Red or Gold.

What is more impt is the length and not the width in order to really enjoy the aro. :)

Aro in tank environment generally do not grow that big, probably around 24inches +/- , unless its a pond.

Also, feeding to that size play a part in the growth too.

Asian Aro has the highest growth rate in its first year of life and will gradually slow down as it ages.
