I often ask myself the same question when I am eating catfish at a restaurant. "If this fish is a bottom feeder that eats crap in the wild, how good is the quality of its protein?" No idea but I'm usually pretty content after the meal.

Do the severums pick on the ray at all? I had a few super reds that I had to get rid of cause they use to nip at the ray. Caused the ray to stress and not eat. I am glad she is doing better tho!

Just get a used minifridge ($80) and buy the canadian nightcrawlers. Last for a long time too. At around $50 with free shipping for 500 worms - no smell no fuss. Can't go wrong. http://www.canadiannightcrawlers.com/ I think they're even cheaper on ebay. (not affiliated with them)

Congrats Chen! Can't believe I missed this thread. IMHO - the best food for pups at this age are chopped up dew worms (Lumbricus Terrestris). It really beefs them up, just make sure you get them from a trustworthy source and have the stomach to be able to cut them up. BTW - Fantastic looking BD...

I'll post some pictures of a previous setup I had. It was a simple 3 stage filter - sediment, carbon block and activated carbon. This provided constant drip directly into the tank. In the sump I had a bulkhead installed which runs into a drain. Had it running for 4 years with no problems.

Kim, you will need a diamond coated hole cutter with a guide to make the cut. I've seen it done many times and it looks easy enough. Check to make sure your tanks are not tempered or you may run into trouble.
