Here are a few pics of my 220 wide. 72×30x24 It's a glass tank with a giant chip out of it from moving it inside and down to the basement. It's a very heavy tank. Currently stocked with a 12" male L25, and 15 geo altifrons that I've raise from eggs. With help from the parents :)

I know angelfins.ca has them for $79 a bag. They are located in Guelph and ship. Maybe they could give you a better price on such a large order

Ya good call on the water conditions. 600 gallons of ro water would be unreasonable. Maybe move a group into another tank, like a 90 gallon or something.

I'd be cautious moving the pair to another tank. If they are moved they might not feel comfortable enough to spawn. It might be best to get them to lay eggs in the main tank and remove the eggs to another tank. I have no personal experience with altums just wild angels. Once I separated my pair...

How are the feedings coming after a few days?

I don't have personal experience....yet. but alot of info of cichla on mfk. I've read about a method where the pellets are soaked in blood worms and then given. Maybe this method was for smaller cichla though. Goodluck

Ya the tem does look alot bigger. I was at dragon yesterday and they had alot of cichla. They were all really small though. I'd love a group of kelberi one day.
