    feeding my aro?

I personally don't like feeding earth worms to my aro. I have in the past but now it's pellets and gut loaded insects

Very nicer aro and tank setup. I wonder what it looks like now....

    Pellet training on Arrows

I've been very lucky. I have never had to starve a aro for very long to get it to eat pellets. Untill it's eating pellets I don't offer anything else. All 4 aros I have ever owned were young when I got them. That helps a lot I think. Though the diablo red was a problem. He became addicted to the...

    My Merlion Harmony Ultimate XB

Such a beautiful fish.... One day I will own one. I agree about dreamfish quality, they are either really picky about what fish leaves their farm. Or they have a great breeding program. I suspect it's the latter. It would of been impossible for me to send 3500 dollars overseas for a fish I have...

    Pellet training on Arrows

I got him and waited 36 hours then I started offering food sticks and nls. Now it's food sticks twice daily and every second weekend I give him 30 or so gut loaded crickets.

    Black arowana

Silver dollars are a little over 2 inches only. I have a 29 gallon breeder I could put the aro in.

    Black arowana

Yeah I would love to grow one out to the 12 inch mark or so. I am just worried about finding it the right home when it gets that big.

    Black arowana

The aro is in a 125 with some clown loaches and a small flag tail now. The black aro is a tiny guy, just absorbed yolk sack. I would put it in a 75 gallon with my striped silver dollar grow outs to catch up to the RTG. I know I would need a 24 inch wide tank to meet my rtg's long term needs and...

1256.37. Since I was not at 50 posts when I made my initial guess. Same guess as before.

    Pellet training on Arrows

My dreamfish aro will take a food stick than a live cricket than a nls pellet. I am lucky he is not very picky at all. Plus he loves to screw the silver dollars around anyway possible, which includes eating their food.
