I was going to ask how you came to be invited. Now I'm going to go ask the president of our local club, which is registered with CAOAC, why this info wasn't provided to the membership.

This came out of nowhere as far as I can tell. No consultations with people in the industry, no surveys. Someone in our local fish club is trying to get some answers and so far the responses are all very vague.

There's a guy on mfk who converted one to full fresh water. Took a year to go from full on salt to full on fresh.

He's doing good. Super active, feeding with the plecos, lol.

Wicked! What are you using for filtration?

I picked up some HBH algae wafers. Seems to be a decent formula with spirulina algae and alfalfa meal as the first two ingredients. Of course, he gobbled that up. Based on his eagerness to eat, I'll be able to offer a varied diet. Picking up some zuch for the plecos today, I'll see if he goes...

Fish aren't cuddly. The general public does not care.

Thanks. I'm not sure what their growth rate is, I'm still trying to get some solid info on them. I have read where some keepers slow their growth rate by reducing feedings in order to keep them in smaller tanks. That kind of thinking really annoys me.

Well, he just knocked back 6 massivores in about a minute.....I don't think I'm going to have a problem getting him to eat! I read on another site to feed these guys 2 days on, one day off, 2 days on, one off....Any validity to that feeding regime?
