I was looking at that last night, was just a bit confused as to why they called the white tank a 20 foot l shaped tank, it appears to be a normal tank. I would've thought they needed bigger glass than 3/4 inch but i guess not. An amazing tank to say the least though.

I believe the beamworks ones are based off of the marineland led's but can't say for sure as I have never seen the marineland ones.

Sorry, for some reason I was thinking of the siphon overflows, like the cpr ones, that hang on the side and was wondering why someone would opt for those as opposed to a drilled tank when buying new.

You would still need an ammonia source for the bacteria in the bottle to feed on.

If you haven't got the tank yet, and are buying it new, couldn't you order it drilled or drill it after then you don't need the overflows, and could match it up with the right size sump? I have a 180 with a 55 as a sump running a mag 18, and love it, so easy to swap out the filter socks, the...
