I think a silver needs are larger tank than a 180g. 180g is the smallest size you can go with a asian arrow.

You are just going to have two fish in the tank? That's what you are planning. How big is your tank and is it a bare tank or do you have places for fish to hide?

If I were you I would feed her live black worms. That will fatten her up very fast. It will make her grow quickly too. It is the best emergency food to feed a stingray when it is weak and starving itself to death. This would be the best route to go IMO. If you could aslo put her in a seperate...

Last night I moved my male stingray after being in the qt tank for over a month. I moved the female 2 weeks ago so they were happy to be back with each other again. No shots in the tank, just in the bucket. I really like the pattern on this one.:)

Well if rays are not your thing then a wide footprint is not needed. 4ft is nice for stingrays. One of my tanks is 36" wide and I feel that's enough room for some of my rays at the moment. 30" is a nice size. But if I would you I would just go the 6" bigger and have 36". That way your arowana's...
