yes...an RTG...lol...even at his size it was starting to get agressive, it was picking on my 6" jurupari's....and they are way bigger....don't wanna risk so I sold already....

Hi Yuppa...I purchase these guys at Big Al's and I was told that it was a flagtail prochilodus, but they have no color on the tails or the fins, but they have the spots on the tail end goint to the head....do have info or know a site about these guys??? here's some pics....

hello guys...I just took some good shots of my RTG now that is used to me and it's new tank...not skittish anymore so easier to take pics...he's also now eating hikari pellets....what' ya think....positive and negative.....and can somebody tell whether he'll have a spoon or bullet head and how...

I have a 5" RTG So far it would only eat MP, but I'm pellet training him now....so soon he/she will be on hikari food sticks until he gets some size then he gets to eat some treats....if it behaves well..lol.... I will be feeding it twice a day when it starts to take pellets.....

I used to keep a lot of african cichlids...now I just have an RTG, clown loaches, Lou Han, severums, and S. Jurupari's....a few pleco's here and there....

when I bought the fish I went to the store in the afternoon and the owner fed all his stock including mine and he powerfeed his stock...I took it home after 5 hours cause I just chilled in the store to talk to the owner and learn more about how to take care of it and how to look for good...

no the substrate is just plain white/brown gravel....and the water isn't hard as I've never added any buffer on my water or plaid around the hardness and ph even when I was keeping africans...it's always been water straight from the tap and off course water conditioner...
