I got mine from ebay. I use mine on 3/4 acrylic and its very very good. Should be able to work well with 1 inch.

yeah..I like the floating part of it but just don't want it to be like my magfloat and having to work at it's pace and not mine!

Definitely not like a magfloat. I hate magfloats myself as they are extremely weak.

These ones are A LOT stronger. I haven 0 complaints on my float. Works very well.

I got mine from ebay because free shipping and no tax. I also got mine when CDN dollar was at par with USD so it made sense to get it from the states. Now it will be the same buying from JL or ebay.

I bought a tigershark algae remover from ebay it works great and comes with acrylic pads its extremely strong as well ( too strong actually i had to put a sock on the outside for better movement)
