Anyone else into corals?

Long before I got into monster fish, I was dabbling in salt water. About five years ago, my prized 180 gallon coral tank exploded on the second floor of my house and caused alot of damage (and heart ache!).

After a five year hiatus, I've slowly made my way back with a small 25 gallon nano reef. I've always had a bit of a green thumb, so corals just make sense to me. It's still a relatively new set up, nothing mind-blowing but I enjoy the challenge and reward that come with keeping corals. A few pics:

I've been messing around with picos and nanos for the last few years. I wanted to down grade to one tank and decided a reef would be the nicest. I recently put together a 46bowfront in the last couple months. I'll try and get some pictures when I get home from work. Its just getting going but I've got some frogspawn, yellow pallys, pulsing xenia, shrooms, red bubble tip anemone, and colt leather.

I too had a small 50gal cube FOWLR tank....but go out...but have always thought about getting back in with a 50gal tank....just a lot of work imho and more so then what I have now...but hey who knows...if enough of you guys get into it.... :-)

looking into starting a nano so knowing you guys have some experience is great for me just learning.

Nice, we'll peer pressure you back into it in no time, Chen :)

They're really very simple, Scott. I would agree with Chen that they're more work than freshwater, but that's just because there's less room for errors with water parameters.

Hell yes I'm into corals lol. So much so that I bought into a large Saltwater fish and coral store :D. Here's a couple of pics of some of my older tanks. Sorry photograghy isn't a strong suit lol

Ya I love them. Had a tank with 5 dragon eels with lionfish and urchins. Never had to worry about anyones hands in the tank though did make routine maintenance interesting lol. Do you have any pics of your old tank?

Unfortunately I don't! It was before my days on fish forums, so never had much need for pics.
