Very nice one of the first bd x leo that you can actually see alot of bd in it. What sex is it?
Its a male. I hope to breed him to the girl you gave me someday. Maybe even get him another girlfriend of his own kind down the road.

I love them too. At what size do rays start to really go nuts for the pellets? These guys just kind of pick and spit right now even though the get all excited when they smell the pellets. I thought they'd be trained by now. They are as bad as arowanas to pellet train. I tried only feeding worms every 3rd day but they lost so much weight I had to move them to a home of their own to bulk them as you could see their pelvic bones.( Not the leo but the mo/pearls)

WOW...... Thats an amazing ray bro :) Im praying someone starts producing here in oil country soon....... on my wish list for sure

Henlie's and leos are probably the easiest of rays to get onto pellets and will start to go after them after a couple weeks of birth, sometimes it's hard to get them off pellets, but this is where you won't like it since your an nls man, they love the carnivore when small and then the massivore when large. Give it a try and ask for Neils forgiveness later.

The leo I just got is already eating the pellets. Its the other 2 that still don't eat them.
I can't get cornivore locally so its not even woth it . They'll come around eventually and then they'll bulk up quick. Can't find worms in Red Deer anymore either. May have to learn sooner rather than later.

Try mysis shrimp. If that does work try a live clam.
