Big Clown Loaches

Hey Gang! I've got a couple of questions here that I'm curious about and I know there are a lot of wise dragons here with a lot of knowledge maybe you guys can enlighten me! =D

1. I jsut picked up some 8" Clowns and they haven't been swimming much. Like they would come out here and there but they are usually hiding while the other clowns are swimming non stop having fun. its been 3 weeks. so Do Big Clowns take longer to acclimate?

2. Has anyone ever seen a White Clown Loach before? I saw one at Big Al's its completely white with black stripes. However, the eyes are not red so its not a true albino. I've looked on the web and haven't found much.... I've asked and some people say its another kind of loach that resembles Clown Loaches but There is no info on the web that shows any loaches resembling clowns that are white in general. So I'm just curious if anyone any information or have seen white clown loaches before....

Thanks =)

I'm rather new to clown loaches myself but my large clowns took 2 months to really start swimming around and even now they don't seem to swim in open areas as much as some other members loaches I've seen. I've never seen white clown loachs?

i have 3 around 8-9" they didnt move too much at first but its been 3 weeks and they cruise around pretty good now, Mind you my rays tend to get em going alot too. I dont really have any hiding spots either so that may help?

bigger wild caught ones take a longer time to acclimate. my 11 inch and 2 8 inch would just sit in one corner of the tank and wouldnt move at all. took about a good month for them to start swimming around. they are monsters now though!! when i drop in some carnivore pellets, they all go crazy!
