Hey,

Just realizing I need more space for stock and I would rather have some money to put towards a nice arowana or a couple nice rays. Plus after getting the Barca everything just seems not as cool.

Here's what I got:

2 x 9"-11" Cichla Piquiti aka Azul Peacock Bass. Extremely sought after cichla from Brazil, still fairly rare in Canada. Extremely gorgeous peacock bass, however they grow very large (over 2 feet). Aggressively feeding on krill, shrimp, scallops and pellets, however not at all aggressive towards other fish. I will not separate them so they pair is for sale for $360.

3 x Polyterus Endlicheri aka Tiger Bichir. Not super rare, but still probably the most sought after bichirs on the market. Rare on the East Coast and hard to find at this size. One of them is about 12" they other two are probably to 16"+. Super laid back, not aggressive towards anything, however will try to eat small fish. Feeding on scallops, shrimp and sinking pellets. They are large fish but would probably be happy in a 120 or 130 gallon for the next while. Wont split up $300 for all of them.

1 x Hoplias Aimara aka Giant Wolf fish. Redd variant from Guyana, which is rarer then the ones coming out of Orinoco. This guy is probably about 10", extremely aggressive and showy. Feeding on shrimp, scallops and live fish. Although he'll need a large tank someday (6' x 3' min.) he should be happy in a 75 till he's at least 16" or a 120 (4'x2'x2') until he's twenty inches. $500 for him, less then what I paid.

$1000 for everything.

Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Will ship.

Thank you,

Justin Morash

No luck with those gars. I have a few left I'm growing them up for myself though. Lost about 12-13 when the power went out while I was away. Then a few of the ones who lived just never started eating again. However the last few are growing strong.

Shipping usually costs about $100 bucks from NS to almost anywheres in Canada. I also have a Guyana Occellaris (nicest variant IMO) that I will let go for $60 it's gotta be 7" now and beefy, growing like a weed. I was going to keep it when I had two however the other just isn't doing great right now, so I decided I will sell the healthy one and if the other one comes around later I will sell it then.

As far as live arrival guarantee on the shipping (someone will eventually ask). Since it's private sale and big fish are harder to ship, I will offer 50% refund if the fish arrive dead, as long as the fish are picked up right away, the box isn't significantly damaged and the flight isn't delayed. So that way we both take the loss if there is one. However I have shipped animals all over Canada for years and only once had an issue.

Thanks,

Justin Morash

i only have enough for one azul
and i know you wont split!
:(
if you decide to split consider one azul sold.. willing to pay 190 for one + shipping

I have a few people interested in the azul as a pair, so I doubt I will need to split them up sorry. Let me know if you decide you want the two.

If I still had the pinima I would keep all my cichla. After I lost him my heart just wasn't in the cichla anymore. He was amazing, but he formed a growth on his head and eventually just stopped feeding.

I'm thinking about getting a small group of azuls and orinos and growing them up to about 8-10" then selling them off again. So there may be more azuls later. I really enjoy growing them up, they are just hard to keep properly at this size.

i agree man
but worth it
hmm ill give you an answer tonight if i can take the pair...
hopefully a 300G is enough
if ur willing to sell one large endi i can take that too

I will throw up a 7" Cichla Occellaris WC from Guyana. Personally I thnk the guyana variants are the nicest of all occies. Bright green, feeding on everything, even pellets.

$60
