Took these pics from arofanatics.com. Hope they don't mind. Look at the quality of these guys!? White diamond!? Some kind of hybrid!? amazing ray i must say!

Wow, those photos you posted above are unlike any rays I have ever seen before. I would vote for some kind of hybrid. Almost like a Xingu - BD cross? :confused:

theo, its fun travelling and taking pics/vids/sourcing out nice stock! im off to taiwan again for chinese new year in 2012. i will be making a side trip to thailand for 2-3 days to meet topstingray and select some rays for myself and bring back some hand selected CB rays to sell! topstingray assured me that ill be blown away once i see his current breeding project of his new class "H1 super hybrid" stingrays. the first batch of pups from these H1 Super Hybrids has been born not too long ago. all the pups has been sold to one guy in china already who booked all of them for a future breeding project lol. im hoping to import a few pieces next yr when more become available. actually the H1 are quite similar to the piece i posted above! as far as i know, the one above is owned by a singaporean. im also interested to see what new strains are coming into the market shortly! lets see where the next level for stingrays will take us in 2012!

Hey Mike when you're in Taiwan, you should try and link up with those star of the Amazon guys. They've got a ridiculous facility.

I'm still on the pure bred vs. hybrid side, but you can't deny the quality of that above ray. Very impressive.
 
if i am wrong, i believe the star of Amazon had moved their business to China.

yea thats what i heard too! i was wanting to visit stars of the amazon in the beg of 2011 when i was in taiwan. i asked a lot of people/lfs there but no knew much about them! i was hoping to visit woodysun from monsterfishkeepers. hes located in new taipei and i heard that he stocks a lot of oddballs and high end rays!

im a big fan of pure black diamonds. the above hybrid grade bds are going to be $$$ for sure and only a select few will have the means to own one or a pair. i still believe that the demand for high grade black rays/black diamonds will continue to stay strong in the ray market.
 
Awesome rays. These guys have more white than black! Soon we'll have white rays with black polkadots! I bet the race is / will be on to get an all white ray - not albino but pure white!

Wish I could find a means to go to Taiwan / Thailand to check these guys out - hard to write off as a company expense lol

Guess I should start saving up now!

thats the fun part about black diamond or black diamond x rays. pattern is always evolving. you never know how they will turn out from pups to adult!
