Getting back in

Well...by mid to late this year i will be getting back into my first passion...Aros. I have done research and read lots of forums of late to determine which I will get and have decided to get a Chilli Red...most likely a DFI if available. I am definitely staying from Panda's....don't like the, had them and was extremely disappointed with them. Never again spending my hard earn money on Pandas...my personal choice...need to get a setup first...

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Please share as many details as you can. There are some people who would rather we NOT say bad things about various fish or farms; I say let it all hang out and let the chips fall where they may!

What Panda fish did you have, when did you buy it/them, and where from? Any photos?

Having imported as many Panda fish as I have, I am putting my money where my mouth is and am growing out a baby Panda Red. Fish came in at 5-6 inches, so it is a total gamble.

I personally have a DFI Chilli Red also, and I am pretty happy with it. Of course, every farms have their good and bad ones, but from what I seen yet, DFI pieces, Reds and Golds, are pretty solid.
