I think someone is trying to make a very nice profit.
1 - In Business the PRICE depend on Supply and Demand !
2 - To be profitable, the LFS usualy mark-up their price by 100% ...

100% mark up is fine on a 50 cent guppy but not on a 3k aro sorry
at the moment the supply is their but the demand isn't
all the real big money is going into black rays right now
if you are will to pay 3k + i think its best to fly over pick your own fish and ship it back
its not hard to get a import licence or get the fish shipped back
just my opinion

I'm totally agree with you T1, 100% mark-up is a lot ...
A GH at 3k landed in Canada, is still a very good deal in my opinion. That's what I used to pay for a 11" High Quality XB.
Do your own research you'll see, not just for the fish. Most of the items selling at LFS are highly marked-up.
I'm the end user like you... the more it cheap the better for my pocket...
That's why I support the Group Buy pattern at 100%.
