Golden Heads, Golden Heads & more Golden Heads

Dear All,
Due to some recent enquiries for our Golden Heads, we have spent some back-breaking moments to corner them at the concrete ponds and transfer them to the fibregrass for easy selection. Majority of the fishes are between 13 and 14 inches, with some even reaching 15 inches.

A pair of newly transfered Golden Heads, 4A (left with 80% GH) and 3A (right with 50% GH). Water is yellowish due to Ketapam leaves being added to calm them down.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, indeed, most of our xbacks do not have the much hated PLJ sydrome. This is due mainly to our stringent brooders' selection 18 years ago. Though the PLJ could be due to environmental factors like a narrow or small tank and insufficient feeding, but from our years of experience, it is due mainly to poor genetics, ie pass down from parents to their offspring.

As a matter of fact, we are still looking high and low for Canadian agents. Seems very difficult to find one these days ... Do not understand why cos Xback prices has fallen by some 60% since 2011, making them very much more affordable these days .... Hobbyists who are keen in comm tanks, can group together and purchase 12 pcs from us, a quantity easy to satisfy.
