Gravel or substrate

Hi, what gravel or substrate would members recommend for a BBXB? I will also have peacock bass and clown loaches in the tank. Also, where would be the best place to purchase recommended substrate from in the GTA? Thanks in advance.
 
well...cleaning is pretty easy for barebottom....that's what i have and with such a big tank and lots of fish i rarely see anything on the bottom of my tank as I have a lot of air pumps pushing water all around!. With substrate you wouldn't want to much current pushing your substrate around or it might end up in your sump or worst in your canister....I do like substrate and more decoration as I think it makes the tank look nicer....but it's a take and give thing!
 
Im going to do a dusting of sand, That way there is some substrate but not enough to really hold any crap :)
