no worries there, the upgrade is a forsure, i'm just going to do it when i move into my own house. I'm not even going to move the tank i have now i'm just going to move everyone into the new huge tank haha

Leos are very nippy and will cause problems with your scobina in about 6 months tops from pups. For size you should be okay.

warning heeded i think i'll take my chances, unless anyone wants a male and a female scobina pair that is unrelated...

Actually I may be looking as they would be great for my growout tanks. What price are you looking for? I'm just clearing out some of my stock that isn't working in my 2200 but my growout has room. :)

Scott if you get them I better see some pups up forsale next year. I saw these rays in person when I went with a kid who bought his black arowana, the rays are wicked. I've been looking at getting different rays too but motoros have such boring colors, my female pearl/motoro looks like young henlie with yellow spots its unreal, I want something to rival it, maybe a flower.

one year and rays can get 14" easy hens or leos.leos eat the most agressive of any rays i think

id have to say boesemanis just have to be the most aggressive of any ray... although i have never owned a leo, ive never seen something like a boesemani at meal time.

No my flower is no where that big yet thank god. It's probably around the 24" mark and growing. She's been a little stressed as of late as the male tiger is starting to bite at her back to get a little breeding but he is not an aggressive breeder at all. Maybe this is why tigers and flowers are so hard to breed.
Are boesemanis nippy with other rays or just aggressive eaters.
Ya I'm picking up the scobinas so hopefully there will be some pups for ya in the future.

Boesemani are not nippy, unless there is food in the tank.. then all hell breaks loose. Other than that, i have never seen mine, or heard of any others being nippy with other rays. a very highly active ray though..
