Had them. Cool fish, difficult to match with other fish. I tried keeping them with cichla and dats and they never really got to eat too much and then I kept with with arowana and rays and the armatus chased the arowana around and vice versa.

How big did it grow in aquarium.

I heard it can easily pass 24 inches

I got 3 with my 7 stingrays,2 Black Arowana,5 Bichirs,Tigrinus,RTC x TSN and a Mbu puffer and I haven't had any problems. My Biggest one takes smelts out of my hand. Awesome fish and look meaner then hell!! Here is a pic. They have grown even more since this picture was taken in April.

Yeah I have 3 but just posted one pic! Biggest one is around 10". But they have taken a growth spurt when I moved them from the 180 gallon to the 450.

lol I've been after him awhile to trade or sell them to me. Very hard to find around here and if you do find them they usually don't look in the best shape.

Might be another reason to place a group order from somewhere. I'm sure we'll be able to get big peices of driftwood, and maybe a nice Armatus. I'd be in the market for some Scobinas too in the next month or so.
