They are actually the same some times called blue some times called black. Some people believe they are caught in different area's, i've raised blacks and they lok like blues to me. When they are you with an egg sack they are black with a yellow stripe down there side untill they lose there egg sack and start eating. When they are older they turn out to be closer to silvers with a blue ting and black arund there fins. Quite beautiful fish. ?I hope this helps. Just my 2 cents take it as you will.
