Looking for enough to fill a 5ft sump.....interested only in the real stuff....

Pm'd if you know where to get them...i know 2 places in the US...one in Cali but they're out of stock...no rush...ie..would like to get in the next 2 months or so...
 
Why this particular brand?

I need some too, as do many others. A while back me and EEYY looked into bringing in a tonne (as in 1000 kgs) of Bacteria House sump media. I wonder whether this is the time to resurrect that plan? Would you like me to forward you all the information? You could have a shipment on your doorstep pretty fast I bet. :)
 
This brand is the original Bacteria House ....it's just the original and tested bacteria house...Would rather go with this brand...been doing research on this for sometime for my canister and since I'm about to get the new tank, just wanted to get the original product. I know 2 places in the US that has it for approx. $200 per 1Kg or something like that. if we can get bulk order I'm in...I can wait a bit if we can get a large order in...but I'd like to get the Momotaro Bakki House Media...not sure if you would able to get this since they have specific dealers...if so I'm IN!..

If you guys can get an order for me at my door steps quick...well...get it here! LOL....just not sure how much I need to fill a 5 foot sump...I'd be filling the entire sump with this....

Negotiations at one time progressed to the point of them sending me samples of their product along with promotional literature. In the end the thought of having several square meters of rocks in my basement scared me off. It is hard enough explaining to my wife the kind of stuff I currently have in our basement without adding a bunch of boxed rocks. :)

Anyhow, I will forward you the emailed communication I had with the guys and we can discuss further.
 
nice....was it the real Momotaro Bakki House Media? There's a lot of other types out there right now...not saying any others are not good...just that the original is the original... :-)
 
yep momotaro bacteria house. They're rougher and more porous. and theyre not really clean cut tubes. some tubes are shorter and some sticking to each other. Max KOi in singapre distributes them at that time. The other kind is cheaper I think it was only 18 per Kg in singapore(with out bargaining yet) and I heard they disintigrate faster.
