The only xingu in North America are owned by Matt in Calgary. Right now he does have pairs capable of breeding but hasen't produced any pups. They are on the banned list from Brazil so to find any would be next to impossible, we're hoping that he has some luck breeding and we will then have some pups available in Canada. There were a few members on the board as well as myself that have owned them but to give you an idea my female I sold Matt a little over a year ago went for $4000. They also take a very long time to get the nice white and black color, maybe around 4 years or more depending on the ray. You have great taste in rays but are picking the ones that are inpossible to get.

Wow that is a nice tag but for a very nice ray. I have limited room left in my pond and do not have room for another pond so I am getting a picky over what rays i choose and want something different than what I already have. Guess I will be waiting or searching for a while. Do you happen to have any links to good info? Nothing I can find gives me good info on this species.

The man you want to contact is Oliver Lucanus. He was importing for retail sale until last year, but nowadays does more wholesale trade and other exotic expeditions I believe. He was operating the www.belowwater.com sub-forum on this site here:

You should check out his book too: http://amazon.belowwater.com/

If anyone can help your source really exotic WC rays it is Oliver.

All my rays are WC and from Oliver...great guy and extremely knowledgeable!
