Multiple Arowana in one tank

Hey,

I only have one arowana at the moment, but I plan on getting more once I get back from a trip down south. I was planning on getting a BB XB and possibly and couple of reds. They will be starting off in a 300 gallon, but I have a bigger tank in works, not sure exactly how big it'll be, but it'll be big haha.

I'm going to house a few big bichirs, dats, and some leopoldi, sconbina and maybe a pearl or tiger in there as well

Basically I was wondering how well do Arowana mix with other arowana?

Thanks,

Justin Morash

all trial and error. best to start when they are young and grow them out together. they will establish a pecking order. after that, hope for the best! you can also add dithers to take away aggression.

More or less, they will fight at some point!!

The more the better and them starting small together is the general rule to have a succesfull com (lesser fight). I'll say 6 being a safe minimum number although a lot has been successful with fewer than that and a few, on the other hand, have to "break it down" even with more than six. The only problem with more is your tank size and it's maintenance.
