I have a 13 inch Mbu Puffer with a 13 to 14 inch Super Red Arrowana that believe it or not seem to have formed a relationship with eachother. If first laughed when my wife claimed this as Arrowanas don't really have a lot of personality in my view and my MBu thinks he is a Dog so for the most part disregards anything but humans.
Lately they have been sharing food, begging for food together and the other night the Arrowana sat near the bottom while the MBU was picking things off his skin.... If the Mbu wanted to kill the arrow [trust me he would have.
