project starts this friday. tearing my old tank down. i'll start a thread on the build , it'll be a glass tank, with a 6 x 2.5 x 2 ft sump. my sump right now is pretty crappy... only 3 x 2.5 x 2. what do you guys think about white bare bottom and black background ? dont see a lot of people do...

nice aros cirrus i got a bbxb that never crossed as well, but some 6th level shine is developing only time will tell i guess.. when the gold frame thickens it might cross over.. your aros still look pretty young to me.

about to start my new tank 7 x 3.5 x 3 and thinkin of getting rid of my cheap parrots what do you guys think would be a good replacement schooling fish something active with nice colors and not too agressive was thinkin about buying 6 more black bar SD's or maybe a shit load of young...

dont know if it's a good idea.. had some pretty bad experiences with plants and my black bar silver dollars. it's not just holding them to place. its that they'll rip your plants eat em up and make a mess . even if you hold it to place they'll just bite the stems and make your tank look VERY...

yeah he only eats at night when the lights shut off. thanks for the advice tho. I'm setting up a new tank in a week or 2. my tank is a bit old. had some termite problems b4 , kinda worried that it's gon collapse on me lol..... plannin on building a 6x3x3 with a larger sump. bare bottom white...

recently picked up NTT, pisses me off doesnt do anything but hides. any ideas on how to get him to come out more .
