That is a great price for that SR. I like it's shape and I am sure the color will be awesome too in a year or two. They say a pumped up SR will have a slower red developement than a skinnier one, but it will come. If you're only 2 or 3 hr. drive from me I'll definitely buy this guy!

How old are your aros? was this their first time acting that way? They will usually swim together for a while maybe a few weeks or a month and the female's stomach will bloat a bit as the eggs grow, then she'll release it. Success will usually depend on the male on how good he can fertilize...

Another funny thing in my setup, the alpha aro who occupies 3/4 of the tank and chasses anybody who crosses that line is actually the FEMALE :eek:. You would think alpha aro is always a male hey?:confused:

You're right article 10 only say's "gold variety" for RTG's.

So cities official just scans the male brooder aro and whatever breed his number crossreference to (XB, SR or RTG) is what the fries is gonna be classified into with out considering what kind is the female?
