i know this is an arowana forum but i thought i'd might ask since arapaima is still in the arowana family which one do you guys think would look better from above/pond super red arowana or a huge arapaima?

lets say i was to filter a 2500 gal pond with about 8 full grown arowanas in it would pressurized filter like Tetra Pond 4000 or Cyprio BioForce 4000 be good enough or you think dumping the the extra cash for a bead filter like Aquadyne bead filter be better for this situiation?

i notice that most big comm tanks are roughly about 3' tall but would 2' deep of water be enough for a full grown arowana? i was just wonderng if they really need that deep of water when most of the time they just cruise close to the top :confused:

did you get your aros all at thesame time or did you added 1 aro at a time? BTW, nice looking tank plus my favorite aro comm just topped it off

is it because they dont look good to be a VIP or they just look too good to sell?

well my plan has glass doors so the sunlight can come in through the doors. its just that i loose so much heat when i go with glass roof :confused:

i live in Richmond so we dont get a basement. i was going to extend my house like a covered patio type then do the pond there. im still debating if i should do a glass roof(green house type) if i do a glass roof i loose alot of heat in winter but in summer it would look really nice tho.

so would blood reds keep its color longer? man do i have alot to learn... thanks for the help guys cheers...

well im building an in ground indoor pond so i wouldnt worry about the racoons but if ever they do come in i dont think they would like it if all the see is my pitty staring down at them :D my original plan was to house an arapaima in my pond but lets be realistic, how long do you think an...

hey Kenta, is there a difference in price with the blood and chillis in the Panda farm? BTW, how does Panda farm differentiate the bloods from the chillis? if i do ever make an order, would they some what be able to tell if the one im ordering is a male or a female? or atleast a good...

wow thats almost twice the price of the Panda Reds. what so different about the VIPs and the Panada Reds besides one being a Ford and the other one being Toyota(well atleast according to Kenta:D)? so if chilli is a low quality, whats is the better quality? i had the impression that chilli...

ok i get it now... stupid me... so why does the VIP of imperial cost more than the super red of Panda(atleast thats what i get an impression of)? how much does a good quality super red from Panda normally go for? and how much does VIP normally go for?
