How would you rate this fish?

To be quite honest, I never thought it was such a big deal to begin with anyways. It certainly didn't get "a lot worse" as someone suggested in the original thread. Anyways, keep up the good work Theo.

    rain water for aros

Why would you want to use rain water anyways? In my opinion, if you're just looking for distilled water, it's not worth risking to collect rain water for your aro. There's too many factors that can affect the water you collect, such as where you collect and how you collect it. Not to also...

    breeding superworms and crickets

It's really simple to breed SW. 1) Pump your SW's up to a good size. 2) Find somewhere that's heated / hot (higher success rate at 28-30 celsius) 3) Put the SW's individual in film canisters or pill boxes 4) Leave them in the dark for 2-3 weeks 5) Extract your Beetles and put them in seperate...

What to do when power out for long time

Hey guys, I just have my skimmer and a filter connected to a backup battery. You can pretty much use any backup battery power pack you find. I use APC Battery Backup. It basically connects to AC power to charge up the battery and when the power goes out, it switches to the lithium...

Arowana only swim when nobody around.

86 F is a little high in my opinion. I noticed that my Aro's do the same thing during the days that it gets hot. I tend to keep it at 80-82. High temperature also means lower dissolved oxygen, so try adding an air pump or something to further agitate the water.

    Dwarf African Feeder Frogs

Pumping the frogs would be a good thing to do for sure -- but these guys are wild caught right? It's probably a good idea to quanratine them to avoid parasites being introduces into your fish / tank.

    PLS HELP

I would also recommend lowering the depth of the water. Make sure you do it gradually or it might add more stress to the fish because of the SB issue. You don't necessary have to use old tank water. You could do 80/20 or 90/10, it might even be better for the fish as you get rid of the excess...

Ha! I thought they were selling asians for 79$ :p But I didn't know banjar reds go for that much though. The V fusion red is also pretty nice, anyone know of a good farm for them? Do they really go for twice the price of a SR?

Sounds cool, but don't really see the point of a built in computer to control temperature / lights.
