Heading to Malaysia

Hey all, just a quick note that in a week I'll be heading to Malaysia for a couple of weeks. I have my niece staying at my place for the full two weeks to look after the cat and fish...no big deal with the fish as I'll only get her to feed them every 3 days.

My wife and kids are in Malaysia 2 months vacationing and visiting family, I was not able to go due to work but found myself (or forced myself) to take 2 weeks off (first time in 4 years) to surprise them. No one at home knows I'm going back so it'll shock and surprise them forsure. I'm just going to fly there and once i land grab a cab to the local shopping centre where I'll ask her brother to take her and kids there shopping for the day....just going to sit in the food court and watch (stalk them! :-) ) until they notice me! ....should be good.

Leaving on Aug 7th, returning on August 22th....very very short trip and probably will have NO time to visit KL and or Indo and or Sing..what a shame....

Have a great time Chen. I had fun with my kids a few years ago at Suntec City, couple hours south of KL, would recommend it.

I'm off to Europe for the month, also have some people babysitting my fish. Good luck with your fish babysitter too. :)
 
yeah....would love to head to KL....but only in the country for 9 days....hell of a way to travel to spend only 9 days but was for the family....
 
3 days is good I think. I don't feed mine everyday now...only 2-3 days. I'm out from Aug 8th to the 18th so it's only 10 days and if I didn't have anyone to feed them I'd be ok for 10days without food since I'd power feed them on the 8th before I fly off...but have my niece house sitting so its good.
 
With my current work/travel schedule, my rays only eat every 2-3 days as well and they do just fine. Better than when they were fed everyday actually IMO.

Have fun visiting the fam, Chen. Four years without taking any time off?! Sounds like it's well-deserved.
 
yeah...can't wait to head out....very cool to surprise them all as they know I'm all about schedules....but only away for 10 days..with 2-3 days travel so going to be tiresome..
 
Have fun and relax while your gone Chen. The fish will be fine.

I love the idea of stalking in the family in the mall! They'll love it!
 
thanks boys...only shame of the trip is so close to all the farms but yet so far with lack of time!....sigh....
