Henlei gave birth 4 months and 3 weeks

She gave birth to 5 very large (4 inches) pups last night. I lucklily heard the commotion and go up to watch everything. Very cool. Very healthy

I think she still has a few more in there so will let you know. Uploader is not working on this computer so pics will have to wait until monday.

She has gone through two rounds of pregnancy. Is it a good idea to sepereate the male to give her time? I would like opinions on this.

If the third round is on the way, in order to be safe, I would take out either the mature male OR the new born rays for the time being.

I spoke to Nico this morning. His first question was, can you see movement inside the female from more unborn pups? I said I did not know and I forgot to ask why he asked that question! His second question was, is the male bothering the female at all? He said if the male is not bothering her, then just leave him in the tank.

The female is over 30 inch Disc. Male is probably 18. I have had numerous Henlei over the years but yes this is my only (and orginal) pair
