Meet Scooter. David's Pearl Ray. I imported this guy a while back. He is now 10 inches.

His tail got bit off by a leopoldi! right at the base too. now he just looks like a saucer.

David told me that this happened a little while ago. He's grown and now around 10 inches. He told me he acts like a normal ray. Eats and swims fine, just without a tail lol I need to get a video of this guy!

now the question is will the tail grow back? . with out the tail I can said it is bdxpearl since there is no tail to judge for the paddle. My leopoldi ate the pup and chew on this pearl that his tail is half hanging, so I decided to cut it off.

tail don't grow back as far as i know. he will be like this for life im sure. enjoy your unique ray! lol.
