I'd guess before the Japanese earthquake the wholesale price would have been close to 10 k in Asia. I have no idea how the quake has affected wholesale prices for high end rays.

I don't think there will be any immediate effect for rays' price.
The price tag is too high. Being for sale for over 4 month at china. Pair of it before shipping is already 12k

Yeah, that'd be my guess, too. How old are these rays? I'm always curious to see how spotting will change on these rays with age.
