Rudy was right

Woke up to the biggest loss, my super red arowana on the floor
just when he started getting his fantastic red. Reminded me of rudy.
Sad day, feel like i got punched hard in the stomach.
I am 18 so it took me long to get enough to buy it and i actually cried.
RIP my Elkindo Red

i know how you feel! im sure weve all lost an expensive fish! i too lost a super red. 2 weeks after buying it lol. dont worry. its not the end of the world. the hobby will continue

bro its not even the money i paid, its the amount of love i gave this fish,
only ATE the best pellets and only used the best products when it came to his health.
plus i raised him from a silver fish with red fins to a beautiful fish.
But i guess everything has a reason and i gotta move on, he will be missed

yea understand how you feel, aros are jumpy, did it get spooked by a tankmate or what caused it to jump?

Sorry for your loss, thats really $#!tty.
When my dog sucumbed to cancer I went through two weeks of never again, then went out and found a new dog.
You feel gutted now, but life goes on and time heals all.

It sucks that it's basically a reality for all serious aro owners. I know how it feels my friend, but it will get better. And like you said, there's a reason for everything, and in this case it's to get more leos in that tank :)
