Very nice one, and great looking tank. But I think you should also try taking pictures without the flash as it seems to wash out the color of the aro a bit.

with out the flash, it becomes blur, how to stable it? when the flash is turned off, and how do you take the picture that only shows aro and rest is black? do you have to turn all the lights off, and leave the camara flash light on, but dont' make the flash refelct through the tank?

You mean how to take ridiculously nice pictures like that Ger-something guy that keeps winning Photo Of The Month contests... You better ask him :)

If you are interested, you could try 2 ways and see what the difference will be.

1) Turn off all the lights and then using flash light to take the photo. (might scare the arowana)

2) Turn off all the light except the top light and then take the photo without using flash light.

Just 2 quick ways to play around. :)

The only way to take a pic and black out the background is to use overhead flash or photoshop. :)

Otherwise, try increasing the amount of light over the tank and shoot without flash if you don't want the glare from the camera flash.

Beautiful dragon, nonetheless. :)
