I think a Royal will owrk but you have to watch and make sure the Aro is not bothering it or the other way around. I love Royals I have a big collection of them and just picked a new one up today. If you want a really nice one go for the L027b or c. They are wicked looking plecos.

I agree with this 100%. Ornates are the most aggressive I have as well. They really dont like fish with a shine.

They are not known for their swallowing ability. They are aggressive to a point but nothing like some RTC's and TSN's and so on. I find they are really sensitive and need to be kept with fish that will not bother them. I had mine with some Dat's, Bichirs and pleco's there was no problems.
