    I agree.. Underfiltration would appear to be the issue.. 2x - Fx5 is great, but I know from experience its not enough.. I am currently running 1x fx5 & 1x eheim pro II and gosh, its not nearly enough for any bioload! - I will be getting another filter before I look into getting another...

    roughly, 1 gallon = 10 lbs.. Also unless you know for sure, its pretty safe to bet that the builders went with "minimum" mandatory req's, which in canada is 16" between floor supports.. Your 180g tank with stand and rocks and filters will weigh well over 2000 lbs if fully filled.. You...

    hbrtg is already a xback rtg cross.. In fact there are very few, if any *true* rtg left.. I would think that hbrtg x xback would still be considered hbrtg.. although if 6th row is complete, can probably pass as just xback..

    I've traditionally used prawn to fatten up phoenix.. Mine also loved algea wafers.. Have you had it long? I have noticed they can take a couple weeks to "settle down" in new enviroments..

    Metal stand on hardwood floor

    I run a 180g on a 4 post metal stand on hardwood.. I use squares of wood under each leg and it doesn't damage the floor.. It also helps to spread the weight out over more floor beams..
