i took him off the for the for sale thread because i had a feeling he was getting drop eye on his right eye. i was unfortunately right. he did develop it and i was glad i didnt let him go to someone whos only going to be disapointed.

anyways, my golden head is back up for sale again. im in search for a new arowana! only way to get another one is to sell this current GH first. he eats prawn with pellets stuffed inside, and freeze dried krill. he is very healthy and developing quite nicely on the 6th level.

if you can live with the drop eye, my loss is your gain. this will be my bottom line price!

this video and pic was taken just 6 days ago. you can see that the eye seemed ok but did worsen. i was advised the aro might have hit himself and the eye dropped a bit. the stages of the drop eye is still very early. if one was to cover up all sides of the tank, it may get better? i just dont have the patience of doing so.

it's part of the hobby! PLJ/DE....becoming norm....as like yuppa says...still an amazing fish with colours!
 
It is early development so you still can cure the DE Mike. Just cover up the tank for a month or two. It is just a bit annoy to see the tank cover but if you have patient it will be back to normal. I did it for my bbxb and it only took me 3 weeks.

will trade this golden head for another gold xback aro as well. 12-14 inches. has to be a premium fish. no defects. pm me or email me at [email protected] of what you got to trade and include some pics as well.
 
What at $2088 that is some major lose from your side. A person whobuys this sure will be a lucky one for getting a good deal.
 
still for sale. covered all sides of the tank for almost 2 weeks. eye is a lot better. will post pics tomorrow night.
