J, I lost one of the occelaris. The RTG beat the shite out of the pair and I had to move them. One survives and is still recovering from its wounds. I had no idea an arowana could punish two big tough cichlids so easily and so quickly.
Yes, I plan to add more fish. Another group of eartheaters and my smaller female marble moto will eventually be added. I'm also on the lookout for some mid tank swimmers. What those might be, I'm not sure just yet.
Haha. That's exactly how I have mine set up. Thanks for the tip though.
What kind of eartheaters are you planning on getting? I am growing up a group of the dicrozosters. After seeing yours I couldn't resist. How fast do they grow compared to other geophagus? May I suggest G.Altifrons 'tapajos' or S.Daemon? Those were my favorite two species so far.
Not sure on the growth rate of the dicros, J. I received them from a friend of mine who thought they might be stunted, but they've grown quite well in the 360. I'd love to get a group of daemons, for sure. I have access to some abalios, but I'm worried that at 4", they'll be snack food.
